Saw this coffee shop had a military museum and was intrigued so went in on 3/4/23. Museum is free but appreciates donations. Had memorabilia from different wars. Recommend!

Finally tried Richards Coffee Shop! I wrongly assumed it was just a vet hangout - while it is VERY welcoming to vets it isn't JUST for vets. In addition to honoring our vets (through the displays, meetups, and service), they are welcoming to us non-vets as well (although we don't get the vet discount). As for the coffee shop, it's down-home cooking and super reasonably priced. I'd HIGHLY recommend walking thru the exhibits (many donated by local service members) and grabbing a meal in the coffee shop too. I'll definitely be back!!!!

I can't say enough nice and wonderful things about Richards coffee shop and museum!! My husband is a veteran amd we've been up there lots of times, even with my son and he loves it too!! And if you're military and are struggling just go in and ask to speak with someone at the restaurant part in the back section (front section is the museum). Amazing human beings. And you can tell they have love for not only their community but of course their country! And if you need help financially they help veterans You just have to go in and bring your information with you what you need help with and bring your DD214 and they'll see if they can make it or can help you.

If you’re a veteran you owe it to yourself to stop into Richard’s Coffee Shop and Museum, and Veteran’s Welcome Home Center. I instantly felt like I was at home with family and friends the moment I walked into Richard’s. The wonderful people who run this place made me feel welcome and proud of my service to this country more than I ever have. I will be back whenever I travel I-77.

This is probably the coolest place I've ever been! All the guys made me think of my dad. My fiance was given beads in a super cool ceremony they do for EVERY veteran that comes in! So special! I could spend every day here. These people are heroes.

This is about as unique an eating establishment as you'll ever find. If you are a veteran, you'll be greeted warmly and celebrated as you were always meant to. If not, like the signs say, this is a living museum with plenty of folks ranging from World War II to modern day heroes, ready to share their stories. By all means, come by and enjoy the food and the stories. You won't be disappointed.
